Commitment to the Community... The owners, stylists, and nail techs at Cutters' Point East are dedicated to helping the community... December 2... Paying It Forward... Paying It Forward has become an annual holiday tradition at Cutters’ Point East. For the past three years the staff and owners have celebrated "Christmas" early by going out into the community and Paying It Forward. They have given out bus passes, sang to homeward bound clients, helped teachers, made ornaments with children, bought Christmas trees, and gave much needed socks, pillows, shampoo, etc. to various children. This year they invited the staff and owners of Kellie's Consignments to join them. To raise funds to purchase gloves for children in the community, they are selling scarfs at Kellie's Consignments and Cutters’ Point East. They have a wide selection of scarves to choose from. On December 2 they broke up into teams and Paid It Forward in East Lansing, Okemos, Haslett, and surrounding communities. Afterwards, they met at Jimmy's Pub to share some pizza and talk about how their efforts affected the local residents.
